Altered box

I needed a good box for my Copics, this box is very good and sturdy but it was completely black and I LOVE colors!!!!


For this card I used only Kitchen Sink Stamps. I was tempted to use my new favourite set (Tulip Garden), then I decided to use also lilies and hibiscus.



As you can see in the pictures, I had a little helper, my English-born cat. He is very lovely and he loves boxes.

Stamps: Kitchen Sink Stamps (Tulip Garden, 3-step Hibiscus, Multistep Lillies)

Inks: Memento, Palette, Versamagic, Brilliance, Distress inks ( for the yellow frame)

Accessories: nestabilities, outline stickers, fiskar punches, ribbon

The yellow cardstock I used for the frame was extremely light and didn't stand out at all. So, I decided to use Mustard seed Distress Ink and it became bright yellow. It really made the difference.

Tulip bookmarks

I made some bookmarks for my friends. Lately, I have been using the "Tulip Garden" stamp set (Kitchen Sink Stamps) A LOT!!!! I think that this set is becoming one of my super favourites!!!!
The tulips look so real and I made a swatch book with lots of color combos as well.

I played a bit with my pictures and I made a collage... lots to learn but I think it's cool!!! :)

A smaller bookmark

Stamps: "Tulip Garden" (Kitchen Sink Stamps), retro background, Damask Designs, Remember, Life (Papertrey)

Inks: the back of the bookmarks has been stamped with Hibiscus Burst (PTI Palette), onyx black (versafine), the tulips have been stamped with 4 different layers of Palette inks, for the leaves I used pear tart and bamboo (Memento), new leaf (PTI Palette).

The edges have been distressed with Broken China (Distress Ink)

Accessories: ribbon (new leaf by Papertrey), eyelets, laminated pockets, nestabilities. I have the large rectangular nestabilities and I have customized the size the die, it takes a bit of time but it saves a lot of money. Basically, with the large rectangular nestabilities I cut squares and longer rectangulars so... buy 1 get 3 ;)

A passion for Papertrey - Challenge 6

I made this card for the new "A passion for Papertrey" challenge.
The challenge is to use a recycled item.
I recycled the label of the Papertrey Anniversary Set 2009 and I used it to punch some little butterflies.

Stamps: Tulip Garden (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Retro Backgrounds and Out on a Limb (Papertrey)

Inks: orangerie, new leaf, melon berry (Palette), pear tart, bamboo, dandelion (Memento), Dried Marigold, Antique linen (Distress ink), Onyx black, Habanero (versafine)

Recycled element: Papertrey Anniversary Set 2009 label (punched butterflies)

Copic creations - Challenge #3 Purple flowers/lilacs

The background is from Cornish Heritage (stamped with Versamark and embossed with Tanzanite embossing powder from Ranger).
The ribbon is Swiss Dots - Plum pudding from Papertrey .

The rose stamp is from Flourishes, I coloured it with COPIC markers.

Tulip Garden - Kitchen Sink Stamps Challenge #13

I made this card for the new Kitchen Sink Stamps Challenge #13. There should be at least one cut image on the card.
I love these tulips, they look so real, I am addicted to these stamps!!!!!

Ink: Various inks (mainly Palette Hybrid inks and Memento)

Accessories: Fiskars border punch, digital patterned paper (Hybrid Chicks), satin ribbon, outline stickers.
