Flourishes Challenge FTTC20: use pearls

This week Flourishes challenge was to use pearls, and it is NOT difficult for me to use pearls, I love half pearls from Kaiser Craft so much.

I love this card, I think it's very elegant. For the background I used one of the Basic Retro Backgrounds from Papertrey. I am using this set A LOT. Also, I wanted to use the smallest images of the Sweet Peas and Nasturtium set (Flourishes).

STAMPED BERRIES - ALTERED TIN

This time I am going to show you a 3-D project I make with Kitchen Sink Stamps and Papertrey stamps. This is a birthday gift I made for a friend of mine. This tin has now safely travelled from Finland to California.

I stamped the berries with Multi-step berries from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

I used mainly Memento, versamagic and Palette inks.

I laminated the top panel so it doesn't get dirty.

The berries have been double embossed with UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel), they are very shiny in real life. The stripes have been stamped with Plaid Plus (Kitchen Sink Stamps) and the circles are from Papertrey (Borders and Corners).

The panel you see below covers the inside of the lid. It is off-centered. Initially, it wasn't like that , then I realized that its position caused problems to open the tin, so I had to reposition it. Better off-centered than damaged :D

I stamped the background with polka dots from Papertrey, the mug is from the Anniversary PTI set (Everyday classics). The sentiment is from the Little Lady set (one of the first PTI sets).

The panel you see below is laminated. I used the anniversary set and boxes, bags and tags (PTI)

SUPPLIES

Stamps: Multi-Step berries, Plaid Plus (Kitchen Sink Stamps), Boxes, bags and tags, Little Lady, Everyday classics, Polka Dots, Borders and Corners (Circles) from Papertrey.

Inks: I used mainly Memento, versamagic and Palette inks

Accessories: laminating pockets (no machine required), nestabilities, ivory cardstock and red cardstock, red ribbon, red rhinestone, metal tin, UTEE.

Kraft cardstock: my first attempt

This is my first attempt at using kraft cardstock.
I wasn't really sure if I liked it but I wanted to give it a try. Now, I know for sure that I will use this cardstock more often.
I used two different types or kraft cardstock, the one in the first picture is lighter, the one in the second picture is darker.

I distressed the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and in the second picture, I made some clouds with Broken China Distress ink.

baby boy card

I usually use flowers in my cards, so I always struggles with baby cards.

Also, just a few weeks ago, I realized that I don't have any stamp set for baby cards and I decided to order the new Multi-step baby set released by Kitchen Sink Stamps. I combined the Multi-step baby stamps with the star stamp that came with Papertrey Anniversary Set - Everyday Classics.

I have two very similar versions, the difference is in the ribbon and the blocks color. In the first sample, two baby blocks are brighter than the others.

I stamped the star with Sky blue brillance ink and I embossed it with clear embossing powder mixed with stardust glitter (unfortunately, this doesn't show well in the picture).

Inks: Most of the blocks are stamped with versamagic chalk ink, the brighter blocks have been stamped with Memento inks. The star was stamped with Sky Blue (Brilliance).

Accessories: clear peel-off stickers for the border, nestabilities (label 1 and 3), Cuttlebug Polka Dots embossing folder, blue rhinestones, ribbon and lace.

Today, I have a thank you card that I will enter for the challenge issued by "A passion for Papertrey" - challenge 11.

Flourishes: Fit for Royalty Challenge

Welcome back to my blog!
Today, I have a card that I will enter for the Flourishes Fit for Royalty Challenge
The challenge consists in making elegant cards or using regal embellishments.

To make my card more elegant, I used half pearls, peel off stickers to decorate the corners and I punched a border with a border punch. I think that the Sweet Peas designed by Marcella Hawley for Flourishes are pure elegance and you don't really need too many embellishments.

Baby card - for a girl

Hello,
today I have a baby card to show.
I used flower brads to decorate the corners and I will enter this card for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday (FTTC27). The challenge is to use any kind of metal on the card.


Stamps: Multi-step baby (Kitchen Sink stamps), Polka Dots for the background (Papertrey), the "girl" stamp is from the Beautiful Bloom set (Papertrey).

Inks: Encore (honeydew, purple, pink), Versamagic (key lime, pixie dust, spring pansy, pink petunia), Memento (lulu lavender, pear tart, angel pink), Brilliance (pearlescent purple).

Accessories: cuttlebug embossing folder, peel off stickers (to decorate the corners), brads, nestabilities, Vintage cream cardstock (Papertrey).

Lots of berries - all hand-stamped with Multi-step stamps

Do you love berries? I have two bookmarks full of them!!!
These berries are really yummy :)

I stamped them with the Kitchen Sink Stamps Multi-step berries, both the strawberry and bluberry have 4 different steps, the leaves have 3 steps.

Waterlily

I have made this card for the 2nd Flourishes birthday challenge.

I embossed the waterlily with Ranger Gold Embossing Powder, then I watercoloured the flowers with Distress Inks.
The nestability die has been coloured with Broken China Distress Ink.

I used a cuttlebug folder to emboss the patterned paper and I decorated the edges and corners with outline stickers.
