Walzing Mouse Stamps Challenge

I have made card for the first challenge issued by Claire, at Walzing Mouse Stamps.
A couple weeks ago a friend sent me this beautiful set (In Bloom - Papertrey) and it is great to color with Copics. I LOVE the background designed by Claire Brennan, it is part of a Christmas set called Very Vintage Christmas. The challenge was to use green, so I stamped the background with Bamboo Leaves (Memento) and I used a ribbon that I like a lot (New Leaf - Papertrey).

Kitchen Sink Challenge: KSCC#17

I have been working on a wood box for a 10 year old girl.
Her favourite colour is purple, so I painted a wood box that I got from my local craft shop with Folk Art Amethyst metallic paint.

I am going to enter this project for the latest Kitchen Sink Challenge #17. I punched a strip of pink cardstock with one of my Martha Stewart's punches.
I also used peel-off stickers to embellish the border.

The butterfly has been stamped with Memento Inks and I added some Stickles to make it shine.

Another card for Flourishes Challenge FTTC33

I have made another card for the latest challenge issued by Flourishes (FTTC33).
The challenge is called "Mix it up!", I used patterned paper, peel-off stickers (borders and corners), my newest Nestabilities dies (label 9), Ranger gold embossing powder, Distress Inks and handmade paper. What a mix!!!!



The peel-off stickers were originally silver, I coloured them with a purple a marker for peel-off stickers. The waterlily has been watercolored with Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, shabby shutters, Peeled Paint).

Mix it up! Flourishes Challenge FTTC33

This week's Flourishes challenge is called "Mix it up!". So, I used stamps, patterned paper, nestabilities and peel-off stickers.

I masked the circle and stamped the flowers inside the circle. The large flower has been stamped twice and cut out to create a 3-d effect.

SUPPLIES

Stamps: Nasturtium (Flourishes), Scratched Grid (Cornish Heritage Farms), the circle has been stamped with a large stamp from "Happy birthday Cupcake" (Kitchen Sink Stamps).

Inks: Raspberry fizz (PTI), Tuxedo Black (Memento), Sunflower (Brilliance)

Accessories: nestabilities (large scalopped circles - Label 3), Copic markers, satin ribbon, peel-off stickers (borders and corners), DCWV patterned paper (a pocket full of posies)

It seems like I cannot stop stamping berries. I am creating a lot of things with these berries and I will show them on this blog.

I used my new nestabilities (Label 8) and one of my favorite border punches from Martha Stewart. The red nestabilities border has been distressed with Fired Brick Distress Ink. I used ivory cardstock, then I created my own distressed border.

Inks: Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Landscape, Spring Rain (Palette), Bamboo leaves, Pear Tart, Sahara Sand, Lady Bug (Memento), Blue (Encore), Ultramarine (versacraft), Fired Brick (Nestabilites)

Pink waterlily - Feel of Fall Challenge

I have made a card for the "Feel of Fall Challenge" issued by Flourishes.

SUPPLIES

Stamps: Waterlily (Flourishes)

Inks: Versamark, Distress Ink (tattered rose, worn lipstick, Shabby shutter, Peeled Paint), the waterlily has been watercolored with Distress Inks on thick watercolor paper.

Accessories: Satin ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder, Martha Stewart punch, patterned paper, rectangular scalopped nestabilities, gold embossing powder (Ranger)

The bow has been made with a tool (similar to a bow easy) that I made with a piece of chipboard. :D

sweet peas

This week I played with my stamps a bit .
I masked a nice circle stamp from the Happy Birthday Cupcake set (Kitchen Sink Stamps) and I stamped the center of the circle with one of the stamps for the Sweet Pea set (Flourishes).

Usually, I stamp the background but, this time, I challenged myself to use patterned paper.

I really liked how it turned out and I think I am going to make more cards like that.
