Calendar page: January

This is the calendar page that some of my friends have on their desk this month.

I sponged the sky background with a Sizzix cloud die cut and Tumbled glass Distress Ink.

The crocus stamp is from Flourishes and I coloured the flowers with Copic markers.

The frame has been made with two Martha Stewart's punches.

waterlily

I really love this waterlily stamp from Flourishes and the Victorian background from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I coloured the fishes and waterlily with Copic markers.

The background has been stamped with a long stamp from Victorian Frippery from Waltzingmouse stamps. I think that it is a very elegant stamp.

I created a silver frame with peel off stickers (borders and corners).

Wooden tags

I made some wooden tags to give as a gift. I found some plain little tags at my local craft store, I coloured them with paint for wood (Folk Art - maple). I stamped and coloured some images and I used dimensional dots to apply the images to the tags.

The first two images are from Verve Stamps.

The butterfly is a digi stamps from Hero Arts, the hydrangea stamp is There she Goes Stamps.

On the back of the tags I stamped "handmade" with Stazon.



Poppy fridge magnet

This is a fridge magnet that I made with one of my favourite stamps from Hero Arts and a little hummingbird from Flourishes.
I coloured the poppies and hummingbird with Copic marker and I used clear spica pens (glittery pens) on the poppies.

The lacey frame is from Spellbinders. The white cardstock is from Gina K and I used tumbled glass distress ink to create a soft sky background.

Dogwood

I really love this dogwood stamp from Hero Arts, and I also love this aqua colour I used in this card,
The background has been created with a Aged Music background stamp from Cornish Heritage farms.

Ink: Antique Linen (Distress Ink), tuxedo black (Memento)
Supplies: Copic markers, Martha stewart double loops punch, dimensional dots, peel off stickers (silver border), Papertrey cardstock.

Christmas cards

These are all the Xmas cards I managed to make for Xmas 2010. Not good!!!! I had all my good intentions, this year I should start earlier!!!!

I coloured the blue cardstock with Distress Inks (Broken China, tumbled glass).

I heat embossed the snowflakes with silver embossing powder (the snowflakes I used are from Waltzingmouse Stamps and Kitchen Sink Stamps).

On this first card the background has been stamped with Aged Sheet Music from Cornish Heritage Farms.

 The text background that I used in the three cards below is from Walzingmouse Stamps (Text It)

 The round vintage stamp is from Very Vintage Christmas set from Walzingmouse. In the card below you can see that the card is very shiny, I sprayed Iridescent Memories Mist on all the cards.

 The blue ribbon is from Papertrey.
