Waltzingmouse blog hop

I know, I know... I should have created a birthday card!!!! The minute I stamped the "thinking of you" sentiment, I remembered that the theme was "birthdays". Anyway, I think this card is ok also for a birthday :)

I used my newest stamps from Waltzingmouse (Asian Garden). I love this set!!!

I inked the trunk with Coffee Bean (Brilliance) and I touched the edges with Pearlescent Chocolate (Brilliance), the leaves have been stamped with Pearlescent Olive (Brilliance).

Stamps: Asian Garden (Waltzingmouse Stamps)

Inks: Brilliance (Olive, Chocolate, Coffee Bean), Distress Inks (Wild Honey, Antique Linen), Palette (Melon Berry).

Accessories: Nestabilities, border punch (EK Success - Maroccan Lace), Kraft cardstock, Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock (Gina K), Summer Sunrise cardstock (PTI), corner punch (Fiskars - Lace), half pearls.

I think this totally works as a birthday card - you're thinking of the person whose birthday it is, right?! LOL This is stunningly beautiful. Love how you shaded the background of the focal image.

Nothing at all wrong with this beauty!!!
It might say thinking of you on the front but inside it might also say 'and wishing you a Happy B'Day'!!!!
Every card I've seen using this stamp looks different I'm so loving this set!

Certainly will fit a birthday occasion. Doesn't that tree fit the Nestabilities shape perfectly! So clever of you to put the two together.

The stamping, the shading, the die cut, it's all great - but I was immediately impressed by your corners and how they echoed the border.

You did a wonderful job of highlighting the tree from Asian Gardens. Now I think I have the next set of Nestabilities to add to my wish list!
