A lot of pumpkins

I love autumn, maybe because I was born in October :-)

The pumpkins stamp is from Impression Obsession, I coloured it with Winsor and Newton watercolours.

I created the background paper (it is not store bought patterned paper) with a wash of watercolours, when the paint was still wet, I splashed some drops of darker pigment to create the illusion of vintage paper.

The background stamp is from Cornished Heritage.

London tag

This is a tag I made to celebrate London, the host city that hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. Also, London is a city that I know very well, since I lived in there for 5 years.
I coloured a manila tag with Distress Inks. The Big Ben image was stamped with Archival Ink on glossy cardstock. I splashed alcohol ink with a compressed air can. The numbers were die cut from a Tim Holtz's alphabet and numbers die, I coloured the numbers with Distress Inks and I heat embossed them twice with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel.

Another countryside digi stamp

This is another digi stamp from Wax Fruit Company, like in my previous post. I painted the background with a mix of yellow ochre and green acrylic paint. Then, I stamped it with a grid backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Stamps.

I stamped the digi stamp on Gina K Luxury cardstock (ivory) and I coloured it with Copic markers.

I noticed that if I use Gina K ivory cardstock (base weight - the cardbase cardstock is too thick for my HP printer) the ink doesn't smear. Also, I set the ink with a heat gun.

Altered frame

This is a frame I altered and gave it as Christmas gift.
The frame is from Ikea, it was plain wood, it needed some coloring. I coloured with Folk Art stains for wood. It is a great product that colours the wood but doesn't cover it like an acrylic paint would do.

All the flowers are made with an old book.

I coloured the flowers with an old ink pad. I used Tattered Flowers die cut from Tim Holtz.

I sprayed the flowers with water and shaped them the way I wanted them. I would say that it is addicting!

The flower below has been sprayed with Memories Mist (iridescent) just to give a bit of sparkle.

The leaves are from Spellbinders.

The doily stamps are from Waltzingmouse Stamps, I embossed them with white embossing powder, then I ironed the tag and the embossing powder melted on a piece of paper I put between the iron and the tag. Cool technique!

I colored the tag with the new autumn Distress Inks.
