Today I have made a card for the Waltzingmouse Stamps Pajama party
However, the weather was horrible and I didn't have the right natural light to take a good picture.

I used Chicken wire and Funky feathers stamp sets.
I created a splotchy background with twinkling H20s and Primary Elements from Luminarte.
It is super sparkly, but you cannot see in this picture :-(

I stamped the feathers on specialty stamping paper from Ranger. I used Memento inks for all the feathers. I stamped on the sparkly background with Archival Ink from Ranger.

I would have been happy if I'd had a better light when I took this picture.

I love the Funky feathers stamp set from Waltzingmouse stamps, the feathers are so cute!

Celebrate - a new Simon Says Stamp Challenge

A colourful birthday card for the new SSS Celebrate Challenge!

For this card I was inspired by Everything Flower background stamp from Hero Arts.

I tried to reproduce it with the stamps I have. Most of the flower stamps I used in this card are from Hero Arts, some are from Verve Stamps and some from Papertrey.

The sentiment is from Flourishes Stamps.

I stamped the flowers with Archival Ink, then I coloured the outline stamps with Caran D'Ache Luminance pencils, they are very creamy and blendable, they can be compared to Prismacolor pencils.

Journal page: artist silhouette

In this journal page I created the background with several layers of ink sprays (mostly homemade with pearlescent watercolours).
All the stamps on the background are from Kaisercraft, excluding the text background in the lower right, which are Tim Holtz stamps.

This page is very shimmery in real life but it is difficult to capture the shimmer with a camera.

Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge: GREEN

A few months ago I attended a workshop with Finnabair in Sweden, I learned many techniques and I applied them to this canvas.
I am going to submit this to the Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge, the theme for this week is GREEN.

I have added some text to the picture below to explain how I created this canvas.
The main stamped image is from Stampendous. In order to make it pop from the green background, I matted the image on black cardstock and I embossed it with UTEE.
The molding paste is white, but I mixed it with acrylic paint.

The metal embellishment I created from a metal can are coloured with alcohol inks.

Green challenge at Simon Says Stamps

The new Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamps is to create a card with green elements.
I used different shades of green on this card.
The background is created with Papertrey Stamps (Harvest berries), the main image is from Flourishes Stamps. I created the decorative frame around the circle nestabilities with a corner die from Marianne Designs.

Journal page: experiments with my Gelli plate and a lot of stencils

I started this journal page from a Gelli plate I made with different shades of yellow and red acrylic paint. I used The Crafter's workshop stencils, the black frame has been stencilled from a Balzer Designs stencil (mini pattern strips). The quote stamps are from Tim Holtz - Stamper's anonymous.

Art journal: painted deli paper circles

I am going to link this page to the Balzer Designs - lettered quote post.

I made this journal page after taking the deli paper online class with Julie Balzer.
It has been fun to color and stamp the deli paper circles.

I love the quote on this journal page.
The background is a gelli plate monoprint embellished with stencils and fiber paste.

An elegant card for Simon Says Stamp challenge

I have an elegant card for the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge (Anything goes).

I used my new Creatables dies, they are amazingly detailed. The main image has been coloured with Copic markers. The image was designed byChris Dark, the Sketchy Stamper. This tulip bucket is not an actual stamp but a digital stamp.
