Waltzingmouse Pajama Party - Golden Oldies

For the new WMS Pajama Party - Golden Oldies I made a card with the Chicken wire set and Funky Feathers.

I coloured a piece of white cardstock with Distress Inks, then I stamped the chicken wire stamp with a grey ink.

For the focal image, I stamped the same feather 8 times to create a star.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

Pajama Party at Waltzingmouse Stamps - colour challenge

I have a card made for the Pajama Party colour challenge. The Pajama Party is hosted by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I was inspired by the colours in the picture below. It is a challenge for me since I rarely use those colours together.

I used the Funky Feathers set from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
I added a clear/sparkling peel off sticker to creater a border. I sprayed the card with an iridescent spray so it gave a bit of sparkle.

The Birthday wishes sentiment is from the Asian Gardens set.

Funky flowers... my new addiction!

I have a new card for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday trigger.
The inspiration came from this beautiful cup.

I played again with my Funky flowers and Simple Sprig set from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The frame is from Waltzingmouse Stamps as well, while the sentiment is from Papertrey (free set).
I used Hero Arts Shadow Inks and Vivid Inks.
I added some sparkle with stickles and a clear Stardust Sakura pen.

Funky flowers from Waltzingmouse Stamps

I have been playing with the new stamps released by Waltzingmouse Stamps.
I love flower stamps and I could not resist all this new flowers and leaves.
The sentiment is from Verve Stamps. I think it is appropriate for this card.

For this flower composition I was inspired by the Tuesday Trigger picture on the Moxie Fab World blog.

I played with different inks: Ranger Archival Inks and Vivid inks. I am an ink addict, I could have all the inkpads in the world. Anyway, I decided to get rid of some inkpads I don't like and I don't use pigment inks anymore, apart from Brilliance and Versamagic inks (from Tsukineko) because they are great.
All the inks used in this card are dye inks.

I used some stickles to give some texture and bling to the flowers.

In this flowers composition I used three different stamps sets: Simple Sprig, Two step sprig, Funky flowers.

I created the light blue background with Distress Ink (Tumbled glass) and I stamped a text background from Artemio with the same Distress Ink.

Art journal: time flies

I made some art journal pages with Tim Holtz stamps, alphabet dies/strips and stencils.
In the page below I added the letters one by one. I coloured the letters with distress inks.

The clock stamp I used in the page below is from Kaisercraft. I used a stencil to create the brown and green image.

My moxie fab challenge - Tuesday Trigger

The picture below is the Tuesday Trigger on My Moxie Fab blog.
The Tuesday Trigger blog post can be found here.
I have decided to participate in the challenge by stamping some of my favourite flower stamps (Rosie Posie from Papertrey Ink).

I stamped the card with Vivid inks (retired inkpads from Clearsnaps). They are great inks with solid images.
I added some depth to the solid flowers with Copic markers.
My card design was inspired by the picture from My Moxie fab and from the cards from the Damask Love blog.

Key chains - inspired by Tammy Tutterow's tutorial

I was inspired by a tutorial published by Tammy Tutterow's on her blog. Click HERE to see her beautiful tutorial.

All the key chains have been made with shrink plastic and clear UTEE mixed with glitter.
The different shapes were die cut with Nestabilities and Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies.
I coloured the shrink plastic with alcohol inks from Ranger.

Below, you see different versions of my key chains.
When the die cut were stamped, coloured and shrinked, I glued the small hearts and butterlies to the base and I dipped the all thing in melted UTEE (Ultra thick embossing enamel). I used clear UTEE from Ranger and pearl UTEE from Cosmic Shimmer (UK brand).

Fun with my Gelli plate

I really love my gelli plate, it is addictive... but it is a good addiction!

In the print below I used different colours of paint and I removed some of the paint with a homemade tool.

This is my favourite print, it is made with bubble wrap, this type of bubble wrap has very big bubbles.

This is a plate I made with fun foam after following a tutorial from Gelli Arts. I used the plate to make marks in the two prints that you see below.

Holiday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

I made a Christmas card for the Moxie Fab World Holiday card Challenge.

All the Holiday stamps I used on this card are from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
I used the Yonder Star backgrounder, it is one of my favourites. I coloured it with Copic Markers.

The sentiment and snowflake are from my first Waltzingmouse Stamps stamp set, Very Vintage Christmas stamp set.

My art journal: pears coloured with Inktense pencils

This is a watercoloured art journal page I made with Flourishes stamps and Inktense pencils.
I am really happy with the result. First, I coloured the images with the pencils only, I didn't add water with a waterbrush, so the colours are very intense. It is important to have a very light hand when colouring with inktense pencils, as soon as you add water the colours become very intense. Then, when I added all the shades with my dry pencils, I started adding water with a waterbrush, I started from the lighter areas.

The text is hand-written, I tried to use some techniques I learned in the LetterLab class with Lori Vliegen.

Air mail challenge

This week I have a card for the AIR MAIL challenge issued by Simon Says Stamp.
You can find all the details about the challenge here.

I created the vintage background with an old background stamp from Cornish Heritage, this stamp is no longer in production. I coloured the cardstock with Distress Inks.

The focal image was stamped twice. I used a Darkroom Door stamp that came with an issue of Craft Stamper (UK magazine).
This stamp is part of the Butterfly Post collage rubber stamp set that is also sold by Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped the collage stamp on a background that I had previously coloured with Distress Stains.
I added Ranger glossy accents to the butterflies.
