Faux watercolour card

No rules for the new challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

I made a card using the faux watercolour technique I learned from a watercolour online class I took some time ago from Online card classes.

I used Kitchen Sink Stamps (multi-stamping) and Stampin Up inks. Then, I used a waterbrush to soften the edges to give a watercoloured look.

I added stickles to the centre of the flowers and I heat embossed a sentiment.

botanical art journal page

I made a journal page with Tim Holtz stencils, stamps and paper.

I added a lot of texture with molding paste, mica fragments and paints.
I think this is a good page for the current Simon Says Stamp challenge: add a little texture.

Geisha tag with translucent embossing paste

I made another tag for the Simon Says Stamp challenge: add a little texture.
This time, I added texture through a Tim Holtz stencil.
I first applied gold acrylic paint through the stencil, then I applied Wendy Vecchi translucent embossing paste.

The Geisha stamp is from Darkroom doors, The love stamp is from the same set, I mounted it on a fragment from the Tim Holtz ideology line.
The Japanese text on the background is stamped with a Kaisercraft background stamp.
I coloured the background with Distress Stains.

Geisha tag

On the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog there is a new challenge: add a little texture.
This card has a lot of texture in my opinion.
I used a background stamp from Penny black, then I added texture with gold embossing powder and a Tim Holtz stamp.
The Geisha stamp is from Darkroom door, while the flowers are from Crafter Companion - Sheena Douglass and the little bird and cage are from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
